The Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust carry out research into marine wildlife. You can look at their website to see what has been seen where and when.
Turus Mara offer trips to the Treshnish Isles including including Staffa and Lunga where puffins can be seen between about April and July. You may get lucky and also spot seals, dolphins, purpoises, basking sharks and whales. Turus Mara collect visitors from Craignure so if you are staying in Tobermory without a car you could take the bus and ask to be picked up from Craignure.
You can also visit Staffa from Iona or Fionnphort with C. Kirkpatrick (for bus times click here).
Sealife Surveys offer a variety of boat trips going from Tobermory, from short trips to see seals to longer trips to spot whales, dolphins, sharks and a lot more.
